Help! What clutch for the 20v silvertop?

I'd like to get a lightweight flywheel and a better-than-stock clutch for my 20v... but since I don't know what it came out of, and I don't know what they were available in!

Here's a pic of her:

What should I get, and where from?

It came out of a 1992-1995 AE101 Levin GT Apex. They were availible with the C52 (most common), C56 and rare C60 (6-speed gearbox), so any C-Series flywheel and clutch are compatable. Came with the standard 4A 6 bolt flywheel and standard clutch, very close to what you have on your '89 now.

*edit* I know this cause i swapped the clutch, thrust bearing and pressure plate from my C50 off the FE i had before onto the silvertop i have now because it had only done about 100km before the engine blew.

Well, it's either a C52 or C56, as it is a 5 speed. How can I find out?

Also, what site is good for these parts?

Thanks!

No ECU, going Mega Squirt with a distributorless ignition. There's duct tape on the intake so no crap got in durning shipping.

Do you have any pics of your motor?

Your most likely bet is that its a C52, however i dont think there is a physical check that can be don (someone might be able to confirm this). As for sites availible, i wouldn't know as i am in Australia and dont particularly want to buy parts from the US. Like i have said tho, any site that deals with AE101/102/111's should be able to help you. In fact, andy site that deals with any model of AE with any config should be able to help you as they are all interchangable.

Pics are as follows:

It's a 4AGE so it has an 8 bolt flywheel, just FYI.

The tranny is a C52 or C56, so any clutch from an 88 MR2 would work, or any clutch for a 7AFE Corolla, or a 6th gen Celica I believe has the same tranny and clutch.

you have a few options here..... any 4age flywheel will fit (except for a 4agze) within the tranny housing and will bolt up to the motor.... you can go with the earlier smaller 200mm ae86/82 flywheel then find a performance clutch/pressure plate, or you could go with the later (ae92 late aw11) 212mm flywheel and it's corresponding performance clutches.... all able to get within the states/canada easily

Since you're thinking turbo for the future, I'd get the Exedy stage 1. It's pricey though.

if you counted 6 on a 4ag.... then you have a messed up 4ag...... lol, ALL 4ag's use an 8 bolt crank...... 4afe's use a 6 bolt (as do 7afe's)
