For those with the Corolla S (mine is an '05 but i don't know if other model years have the same thing) with the leather-wrapped steering wheel and gearshift (automatic)....
As far as cleaning/conditioning this part goes, what do you use to keep it looking nice? I only have these 2 leather parts, everything else is cloth and vinyl/plastic. I don't want to buy a whole damn bottle of leather conditioner just for a few inches of it. Now, I'm noticing the gearshift leather looks like it wants to start flaking off and i'm like... NO. This shit is too new to be doing this, i got it 5/17.... And I don't understand why, I'm very gentle with my car. And I have soft hands so it can't be from me. It's an automatic so it's not like I touch it a whole lot..
Basically, my question is- is this REAL leather, or what?? And can I use like, shoe leather conditioner stuff for it.... Leather is leather, eh? Or does anybody have any other suggestions...
