Brake booster question!!

I need a little bit of help!! I was in the process of finishing my drum to disc on conversion and while trying to put in the GT-S brake booster and master cylinder in I noticed there was a massive crack in the booster!! (Needless to say I was pissed because I want to get this project done so I can get on to my next idea for my AE92!!) Any way my question is can I use the booster and master cylinder from the SR-5 and still be safe? I would go ahead and just order a new one but even with my discount from work the booster and master cylinder cost almost $400!!! Thanks for any advice in advance!!!

Have you tried the wrecking yards? What about getting a jobber unit from NAPA?

Since you have a work discount, I'm going to assume you work at a car parts place. Have you tried cross referencing the GT-S booster to see if it matches something else?

In the meantime, you could always try the SR5 one. Just test it out late at night when there isn't much other traffic around.

Just use the booster from the SR5 but the master cylinder from the GTS.

Yeah I actually work at a Toyota dealership. I have cross referenced with other cars and I can't find any of those cars to pull from in the junkyard. I thought about doing the SR5 booster and the GTS master cylinder but they don't match all the way, so I didn't want to take the chance and die in the process, but I might use your idea to use the entire SR5 setup and drive late at night!!
