AE92 Coupe Headlight Clarification

Living in rural Minnesota, deer are a big issue with nighttime driving. After looking around on the forums for some time, I've noticed that REN69 amongst others have upgraded their headlights. I have been unable to find something I can be totally confident in buying on ebay however. Are there any particular vendors or products that are good? I am looking for something that can help me see better at night, not stobe lights, or pink lights, or any crap like that.

After searching ebay and the forums it seems that I want to avoid products that contain: "Angel Eyes", "Halos", or "Euro", and that good products include "Super-White", "Diamond-Cut", etc. Are these assumptions correct?

I got my DIamond cut headlights off e-bay from 'angeleyelister'. My only gripe was that I had to trim the pasltic around the edges of them to make them fit into my housing..but that wasn't too tough I guess.

I just went to autozone and bought the Pilot sealed beam conversion lamps and some silverstar bulbs. you have to trim the headlight bucket but that only takes a few minutes with a dremel. the difference i'm seeing at night is amazing. and since silverstars run on stock power no need to upgrade the harness...but i have links for the harness.

Living in rural Indiana I have the same problem, my brother even hit one in my car. I went to napa and bought the brightlight xenons(they are white, not blue) and i noticed a pretty big difference.

I picked mine up from my local Riceshop they usually go as H4 Angel Eyes conversion, mine was a made in china brand that I can't remember.. Phillips makes a conversion too that's not as pretty but still uses H4 bulbs, I know you can pick these up at autoparts stores here in Canada, give it a try in your area.

Tokyoracer, mine didn't fit properly either.. but its easy. screw the 2 screws on the top of the metal holder first, then screw the ones on the bottom slowly until the metal holder stretches slowly and fits overtop.

Awsome, thanks for the tips! I'm going to be ordering a similar product on ebay or a local parts store after my next paycheck (June 20th), and i'll tell you guys how it works out!

P.S. REN69 that car is sex-ay!
