Startup problem, Gear stiff
I have Toyota Corolla 2000. I have been start up problem and I noticed that the gear doesn't go in the parking mode properly. When I push the gear little bit and try, the car used to get started. Now the worst situation.
It doesn't get started even I try to move the gear. I feel stiff break and tried everything to bring gear in proper parking position, but it does move properly or sometime moves loose.
Now, is it I should say transmission problem ? or Is it timing belt problem as someone in my office suggested.
How can I verify what exactly causing the startup problem.
