Question Levin Superstrut Questions...

is there such a thing as a Roll Center Adjuster for the AE101/AE111 Levin Superstrut? I know they have them for the myphearson struts. Tried surfing the web for any but i couldn't find anything.

also, are camber plates of any use with the Superstruts? I'm getting mixed feedback from friends locally... some say its useless (the camber doesn't change), some say they've slapped them on and that they work...

I havent found any roll centre adjusters for mine, but i'm pretty sure they would exist. as far as camber adjusters... I would think that they would work, but again, i havent tried/found one for the super-strut.

Some people i've talked to tho have said that the Levin GT-Apex was called that for a reason. 'It was the closest thing toyota had to being a true Grand Touring car at the peak of the Corolla's Life-span' I share this opinion too... The engine is the closest Toyota has to a race-spec street-legal (and factory built - the 1Jay's and 2Jay's you have to work) engine. The best Suspension for the spec of engine, and for it's time, the best features and creature comforts (ABS, Climate control, power windows & mirrors as standard, as well as MOMO steering wheel and trim).

nope: two reasons: running +45 offset, so it would rub if i went more than about an inch, and the second is cause i am building a rally car so it needs to be as far off the ground as possible without affecting the centre of gravity. I may look into it tho, as i may be ditching the old plans. You can go as far as 2.5" tho. They're stiff as, so lowering is not a problem.

mine's dropped around 2"... barely a finger gap between the top of the tire and the edge of the front fender. having problems with the axles since the drop and was wondering it its specific to 4agze transplants. a few guys back here have similar problems even with mcpherson struts up front.... that's the reason was looking for RCAs - help level out the axles.

RCA's would help, definately. The problem is mainly isolated to the GZE's as they are a Cast Iron block which means that it is heavier than the 20v's, especially. I found that my car is the same level as the old one (even though the super-struts are already .5" lower than the stock Mc Phearsons on the rear) because the 5th Gen GE's (20v's) are cast-alloy blocks and are lighter than my 5th Gen FE that came out.
