AE86 ae86 with Camaro / Mustang rear short strokes

Its been talked about a lot, but i can't find anywhere that specifically says what year/models shocks we low budget AE86 owners can use.

So, the purpose of this thread is to specify all this information and once i have it i'll edit it into this first post so that everyone can find it thru search. Please contribute to the following information

1) What years/model Camaro or Mustang rear shocks can the AE86 use on the rear as short strokes?

2) Which are shorter?

cheaper option... MONROE SENSATRAC (w/ same combo). don't laugh, Migs from Dori-Kaze (one of the most experienced canadian drifter) is using them on his cars.

you're saying, the monroe sensatracs for 82-01 camaro and firebird rear shocks work on the 86...these would work? they are $30 on ebay:

sry i didn't know of dori-kaze forums.

i read lots of it, and i still come to the same question, do only monroe and KYB adjustables for the camaro fit the ae86 or ANY rear shock for the camaro??

i would think that any rear shock, but since everyone talks only of kyb and monroe fitting i get confused...and you Micro_ know i like to have everything researched up before i do anything....then i wite up conclusions so nobody gets confused.
