2005 Corolla XRS - Yellow Maint. Required Light

Anyone found out a do it yourself way to clear the Maint. Reqd. light on there 2005 Corolla XRS? Anyone know of any scanner devices out for it yet?

i'm assumign you haven't read your owners manual yet, DO THAT.

When the key is in ignition and is in OFF position push trip odometer reset button and hold. Turn key to ON position and continue to hold reset button. Watch the flashing lines in odometer until they stop. Release reset button, the light will be off.

Lightbulb To reset the maintance light ...

The maintaince light to program to come on (and stay on) every 5K. Time to do a Synthetic Oil Change!

Then to reset it, With the Key in the Off Position - Press in the Trip Meter Reset and Hold it 5 seconds after you turn the key to an on position.

Pretty Kewl, Huh!
