what are the rpms at 70mph on your corolla?

theyre 2400rpms at 70mph for my 01. Im curious what the difference is with the 01-02 5spd, as well as the 9th gen corollas with either 5spd or auto trans.

on mine theyre also 2600rpms at 75mph, and 2800rpms at 80mph.

haha.. at 115-120kmh (about 70-75mph) my cars rev at about 4000-4300 RPM.

about 3000 on my 93 as well as my 01 (iirc)...
i dont know if that has anything do with the wheels tho, both have 17s on...

hmmm...a mustang with 323 gears I could understand that high of an rpm at 70mph.

are you sure about that with your corolla...that sounds awfully high.

What gear are we talking about? Also, XRS is 6 speed, regular Corolla's are 5, no?

about 4500 or so in 5th

final gear ofcourse: 3ce/4le,s auto, 5/6xrs stick.

69 & 90, you guys are running higher rpm's than I ever expected on a corolla.
I dont remember the rpms being high on the 85 sr-5 5spd we used to have...seems like
they were near 3k at 70mph.

yep.. sounds rite for a 4A-GE engine... note that our red-line is @ 7800rpm...

Yep that's right.. actually, I thought the redline was 7200rpm.
