Corolla'97 DX - slips in cold weather
Hello all,
just wondering if anyone has had the same issue with their '97 Corolla DX (automatic transmission). When the car accelerates, it slips/jolts when going from 1st to 2nd gear, but it only does it on cool/cold days and behaves perfectly in hot weather. In addition to that, it accelerates slower and with more noise than it used to a year ago. As if that was not enough, it also gives out a loud squeak when put into reverse on a humid day.
The car has never had any mechanical problems, and transmission fluid was flushed a year or year and a half ago. Could it be transmission? I'd hate for anyone to take it apart...
Any comments/suggestions would be much appreciated!
