Lowering My Corolla!

Hey guys, I have a 2004 Corolla CE that I'm going to lower, I was just wondering... How much should I lower it? It has some 18" rims and a body kit on it ( This one: http://www.andysautosport.com/bodyki...roll&brand=AAS ). I want something that handles well and look good, of course. What's the optimal lowering height? Thanks.

if you want to lower just a tad, tein H is a good option.. but if you want slammed.. tein S techs are nice too.. not too sure about the exact #'s.. but I know that the tein S for the 03+ is more than 2 inches drop.. please correct me if I'm wrong.

if you don't have much clearance with your kit, get tein H .. but if you have tons of room, tein S is the way to go

The S tech drop is about 2.5" front and back. Looks great IMO!

doesnt matter the size of the wheels, the drop will be the same because the overall diameter of your wheels/tires should be the same.

Yes but the bigger the wheel the smaller profile your tire meaning you will have a harsher ride as the lower your car goes, the stiffer the springs need to be to comensate. So if you had 17's you could get a smoother ride at lower height cause your tire's sidewall could take a little more of the impact from bumps.

I actually want to raise my corolla a little. I hate scrapping the bottom when going over speedbumps.

I even replaced my tires with 185/70 r14 to gain some ground clearance. For me it is just not practical having the car any lower.
