rice 101

My personal definition of 'rice' would be anything, that makes a vehicle look completely and utterly stupid. That includes, things that make it have the appearance of it being fast yet lack the ability to be fast.
Let's face it folks, those body kits dont add any aerodynamic properties to the car, nor do they reduce weight or even look good, and please dont get me started on whale tails, The body kit has evolved over the years from being a cheap way of getting the "lowered" look without actually having any mechanical ability. Then it progressed to the long list of excuses to "it makes my car more aerodynamic", once again their theory was shot down in a matter of milleseconds. Now, its finally come to rest at the "i just want to look different than every other car out there". Ok, i can respect that... Since we are all car enthusiasts, but some of you just get out of hand when it comes to hooking up ya cars

I hate ricers. Those body kits don't make your car look unique because ricers are everywhere since The Fast And The Furious came out.

who the fu*k are you (any of you) to tell people what should be done to cars?!?! My car came with a body kit, and i didn't buy it to be more aerodynamic, nor was i gonna rip it off because it looked "rice". rice has nothing to do with a vehicle looking stupid. It IS things that make the car look/sound fast. People do what the fuck they want to their cars and who the hell are you to tell them what or what not should be on there car.

If someone buys a ferrari and drives it slow are you gonna complain about that too? (i know....bad example)

ok .. this is the second topic IMO that will be locked that mevlin either started or posted on

'its my personal definition im not telling u ricers what to do wit your cars its your property and your business u tool take your ricer ass to auto zone and slap a rice sticker on your forehead'

if you are not telling the ricers what to do with their cars, then WHY do you even post it online? face it.. it's their cars that they are 'ricing'.. not yours.. why make such a big issue out of it? .. if I wanted to get a wing the size of CN tower (not that I would lol) because I think it'll give me all the downforce I need.. why would your opinion matter to me?

I can admit.. yes outrageous bodykits don't have any functionality.. but .. those who are going for show .. what they role around on stock bumpers? I'm sure they'll hit up those big trophy's..

I have a TRD lip kit... is my car rice because I have a lip kit that toyota sells? in fact, are all the people who drive around with the 03 + corollas with the S kit ricers? after all they dont give any performance gains..

I have to key in on this one....Rice...yes there is toooooooooooo muh of it out there....from shitty tacked on kits, BIG metal wings and spinner hubcaps. But I think we all agree, that it is what you DO to the car that makes it rice or not. Me, Yes I drive a camry...yes there are a handful of kits available and this is why we did more to the kit via fiberglass to make it look different. Wings....OEM spoiler....not ricey....but tasteful. Is my camry slow like it is driven by grandma?.....hell no...not after the amount of work that went into it. Rims...yes we ALL like them...but some people out there don't have the $ or the intelligence to save for the rims as opposed to getting hubcaps. So rice......yeah it should stop....but unfortunately thanks to a lot of kids and lower functioning adults.....rice will inevitably be around.

melvin.. if you don't want to see your so called "rice"... poke you eye out so you don't see you stooopid fool! (i'm sorry mods!) but this has got to stop.. people bitching about other people's car. you live in a democratic country, so face it whether you like it or not, you'll see cars don't you don't like and what a NORMAL person would do is turn their heads or smile or even laugh but to actually post it online is just stoooopid.

btw, you talk about ricers... what the f*ck are you doing with big-ass rims and a muffler that can house 3 squirrels? unless you have a turbocharged motor in there... i don't wanna here it.

lastly... SHUT THE F*CK UP ALREADY!

P.S. this should be in the OFF TOPIC SECTION! (i'm not surprise though coz the idiot that started this thread doesn't read forums rules anyways... )
