I'll agree with the reseting of the ecu. Most ecu's constantly adapt to changing conditions. However is there is any modding done, even as simple as a intake, you need to reset it. Even though they adapt, the change is just to much, and they go nutty. Like they're drunk or something.
However I do not agree with the specific driving program. I just think its a waste of time. It doesn't matter if you drive the car hard or like an old lady, it will adjust to the new conditions. Whenever I reset mine I drove it hard. Mostly because I had just installed something, and wanted to (not always did) notice a difference.
Most of my experience was with my 96 firebird, so I could very well be wrong. One time on the bottle the maf sensor was frozen because of the n20, and the car just shut off. A lot of fun when you're over 100 mph!
