FX16 rear seat belts

I have the opportunity to get an 87 FX16 w/only 50K miles. I don't know much about this car but am trying to learn what I can from you. My concern is that the rear seat belts are lap belts only. I have a couple of small children that I carry to school everyday and I would feel alot more comfortable with them in 3 point belts. So the question is, can you retrofit a three point seat belt into one of these cars? Has anyone ever tried? Thanks for any comments.

probably not, because the car doesn't have the bolts on the upper sides to hold the 3point seatbelts. 3point seatbelts didn't start until 1988 and the FX changed in 1988 so there won't be any parts that you can buy from a wreckers that would give you this option.
