AE86 SR5 motor swap

hey i recently got my hands on a 1985 Corolla SR5 AE86 and i was wondering wut motor should i swap into it for a good drift car


any input would be great!

there are quite a few differences between the sr5 and gts, the sr5 has rear drum brakes, 4ac and different rear axles and some cosmetic stuff. I would get a gts or upgrade it to a gts before thinking about any swaps, many are content with the stock 4ag. But other options include a 20v, and gze. Just read up in the reference section in club4ag.com

forget the GT-S upgrade. just get the the W series tranny and the rear end from an old supra and drop a turbocharged 3T (3T-TE). lots of power and the block can withstand over 350whp.
