I just ran into this looking for a 98-02 Corolla exhaust.. the reason why I was looking for an exhaust from that year was because I remember seing someone's AE92 a couple of years ago, and he had fitted the 98-02 Corolla TRD axle-back exhaust to his red AE92, not sure if it was a direct fit or if he had to modify anything on it, but it looked really nice so I was kinda looking for other than TRD exhausts for the 98-02 Corollas for different looks and found it.

ahaha.. WTF goes to show how long ago I looked for direct fit parts for my car.. I guess with the AE86 getting so popular, the AE92 is starting to be given a chance.

Dude.. I can get something custom done for about $500 CDN but the problem is, every shop's work I see on someone else's car leaves me a lot to think about.. even the work I've gotten done at local shops makes me wonder.

I'm just looking for something bolt on and ready to put on another car if I had to and I'm looking for something other than straight thru, so a nice sports muffler might do.

i was the same way..... until i met someone who worked literally down the parking lot as an exhaust welder...... he did the best work in town (he did my mr2.... and the 2nd exhaust setup on the ae92)... unfortunately he isn't at an exhaust shop anymore (but is kind of a friend/contact)...... but if i need exhaust work now i'm screwed.....



of course... with me there & showing him how we could actually do this... it still did take 4+ hours!!! (that's a flowmaster single in dual out muffler).....
