USA rear light problem

I have been fixing my side light at the back and accidently connected the positive and the negative wire on that light. The effect of this accident is all the tail lights are not working. I checked all the fuses but all is ok. I have no idea what is the matter. What should I check?
This is a 1.6 '90 Corolla. Please someone help me! I was so glad that I got this car!

Gery
