2002 Corolla Differential Plug??????

Hello All,
Need some help, does the 2002 Corolla, 3 speed automatic have a differential drain plug? Where is it located? I changed transmission filter and added 2 1/2 qts of fluid is that enough? thanks a head of time. Armyjunk

Start your car and run it for a few minutes then check the dipstick for the transmission fluid level. Add fluid accordingly.

I do not know if the Corolla has a differential drain plug or not. The differential is behind the transmission and looks like a square box with some small fins on it. If the differential is anything like the one on my Camry, the drain plug should be a 10 mm hex key like the transimission drain plug. The fill plug will be a 17mm nut on the back side of the differential. Make sure you can get the fill plug off before draining it. To fill it, get some vinyl or rubber hose and put one end in the differential and run the other end to the top of the vehicle. Fill through the hose until fluid comes out at the bottom.

Thanks, as near as I can tell it has no drain on differential. dipstick very hard to read. Has 3 3/4 quarts (HOT) and appears full.
