ae92 strut bar?

Guys, my girl has a 1990 corolla with a 4afe engine. My question is where I can find a strut bar to fit this type of car, I really don't know much about corollas so any links or info would be great thanks

get on from 93~97 rolla....they fit, if you want cheaper one, goto junk yard and look for 88~91 corolla GTS, they fit as well, just need custom drilling to fire wall.

Cardomain sells a super-basic one for $30, just go to their site and stuble through the store, you'll have no problem finding one.

I find a statement like that funny, performs better, how can a pipe perform better. Only reason it adds more strength is because it mounts in three spots making a triangle with the chassis.
Then again, find a no-name bar that does the same will "perform" exactly the same, provided the materials are similar.

the car will perform better with the gts bar than an aftermarket strut tower to strut tower bar.....

every post you make now, i will point out what it COULD mean rather than what it obviously means

i used to have a no-name bar that went straight across.... i noticed a change for the better when i swapped it out for the ae92 gts bar.

yes, it will..... racer25 also had one on his ae102....... you need to do the same thing that sr5 owners need to do... which is drill 2 holes into the firewall where the bolt holes line up.... to get nuts back there you need to remove the windshield wipers and plastic trim under them.

I pulled the strut brace from a GTS and put on my SR5. I have to drill two holes in the firewall so it would fit, but I didn't feel a difference at all!! I had to use different bolts then what was on the GTS could that make a difference?

Pipe are not weaker then solid bar. Anyway most aftermarket bar are hollow alum with thinner cross section then the stork GTS steel bar.

then you don't drive the car hard enough...... strut braces really don't affect the car all that much on routine driving, which is why most cars don't have them......
