I would go with 2.5" piping for it. You will definitely see better performance that way.
As for the rims, you may run into some problems if you go too big with the wheels. I would suggest a 16" just to make sure you are not scraping the wheel wells.
The springs are going to be hard to find. Trust me, I've looked everywhere. They've got em for the GT-S's, the SR-5's, hell they've even got em for the freakin FX-16, but nothing for just a regular, plain old Corolla FX or anything like it. I suppose you could do some research and compare the springs and what not with those of your own and see if they match up. Otherwise, you will probably have some trouble finding springs for it.
I haven't seen any body kits for them either, but you can have a body shop mold one and fab it up for you. It will be a little more expensive, but it will work.
The intake won't be too much trouble if it's like mine. It will just be tricky, and the right parts may not come very easily. I'm assuming that you have the 4alc like I do, so you're intake is much like that of a small pickup truck intake. i'm not sure if there will be any performance gain there, because of the way the intake sits on top of the engine. You will have to use a bend piece with much higher restriction, and that may cancel out any possible performance gain you might have seen. I guess it wouldn't hurt though. It just might not help, you know what I mean.
I have heard that a DSM (Mitsubishi) Turbo will fit fairly well, if you rig it up right. They're not too expensive either. You can find them on Ebay all the time, and for fairly cheap. That will give you a little extra power.
Other than all that, I have given up on my Corolla, and gone with Nissan for the most part. I love Toyota's to death though. They are all very well built. Mine has almost 200,000 miles on it and still runs better than either of my other cars. The older models were just not meant to go fast. Good luck with it though and let me know if you find anything. I still highly recommend a motor swap if you have sufficient funds for such a task.
