I need some wheel info for my 92 4AFE Corolla. I am planning on putting aftermarket rims on, but need some specs. Without physically measuring by removing tires, what is the standard rim width? I figured this much already.

Current tires:
195/85R13=
7.67 inches wide
6.52 inches tall(3.26top&bottom) +
13 inch rim = 19.52 total inches tall

Planned rim/tire:
225/40ZR16=
8.85 inches wide
3.54 inches tall(1.77top&bottom) +
16 inch rim = 19.54 total inches tall

This sounds about right?!? I only need current rim width to convert to proposed rim width and any offset info will be appreciated as well.

1992 Corolla 4AFE auto(Soon to be 4AGE Turbo(maybe twin) 5spd.)

Will the car turn? The most I can imagine myself putting on my sedan is 195/50/15, or something along those lines.

Actually, you know what, I've talked to someone in the states a looong time ago who has 225/40/17 in his AE92 Corolla sedan. I recall him telling me that he had to do some fender cutting and modifications for it to fit.

It was too long ago, so I can't remember. But I think it's possible. So 16 inch should be fine I guess..

Maybe someone else here can help.

Kevin
