DEFINATELY ANGLED

they didn't invent the n1 canister look to mount it straight.

that is just gay

every time i see a guy trying to be JDM with a canister muffler and not mounting it angled, it looks terrible.

terribly gay.

angled, or get another style muffler.

I like mine, it's an Oval Ractive muffler. It looks great and sounds great as well.. Again! I'll show it off at the September TN meet...

thanx guys thats what i was figuring, angle side and up but not too much. n e wayz my next question is then what size canister should i get for this car? apexi N1 isn't that big is it? right now i have a canister that was on my camry sitting in my garage i was thinkning bout having put on my corolla but its the lager kind with a 3 inch tip out and 2.5 inch in, the overall size of the canister is about 5-6 inches in diameter so its kinda big. I'm worried bout putting on a muffler that doesn't have that much filling inside to cut down on the noise i don't want to ride around souding like some bumble bee on crack like most hondas. Is this a problem with the AE92 with its little motor and all? can i pretty much keep a smooth deep tone and stay away from high pitched raspy noises with n e kind of muffler onthis thing? thanx

well its a 1.6l, so it's gonna sound raspy.

my tip, use a resonator!

get a cherry bomb or glaspack and use it inline after the cat and it should deden down the noise pretty good.

after this, most mufflers sound pretty good, the 3 inch tip sonuds like a pretty good size canister for the ae92, 2.5" is getting normal sized.. post a pic of it.
