Japan Looking for a shift boot *HELP*

Hi, I just recently traded my 93 Corolla for a 96 Corolla Manual. And I just came back from Japan with a new shift knob I want to install on my 96 Corolla. But it's going to look back if I put it over the stock shift boot. Can anyone tell me of a good one to get that fits well with the Corolla? Please give me a brand or something, and pictures of yours if you have any so I can see how it looks. Thanks!

i make mine...

take the black base out of the dumbass boot cut 4 triangles of fabric, make the bottoms a bit longer than the length and width then make all the tops about 1/4 to 3/8", make them an inch, inch and a half taller than the console to the bottom of the knob then sew the edges togeather inside out then flip the outside out, push the black plastic thingee in as far as it will go then roll the edge of the fabric under and hot glue it then trim the excess..

Japan Cool...

Hey, thanks man, that's a cool idea, but I just don't want to do it myself, lol. Hmm, I was looking at the Ichibahn ones, they don't cost much, and it says universal fit, so I don't know. BTW, did you have a difficult time taking off the original shift knob?

I'm sure you can get a universal shift boot and it would work just fine. Thats what I'm doing on my Camry. I ordered a new shift knob, and I'm just going to get a universal boot and make it work.

Glaring blue HID bulbs are NOT classy, and don't make your car look nice, no matter what that kid in the Civic told you.

Japan Thanks man!

Aight, yeah, I think I'm just going to get a universal one then. Hey, so you know how to take off the stock shift knob? Cause I don't know how I'm going to go about doing it. Nice Camry by the way, it looks hot.
