Brake Light won't turn off

The brake light won't turn off we just changed the brake pads on my friends 01 Corolla S and the brake light won't turn off. It's not the first time we have changed the pads so we know what we are doing but the light won't turn off it is light the E-Brake is stuck or something but it is down all the way but the light just won't turn off. Does any know what's up with this or has happen to them? Thanks in advance.

Brakelight in the dash or in the taillights? If its the taillights, its probably the brakelight switch in the pedal assembly. If its in the dash, did you connect the brakepad wear indicators (if you have them) or maybe the ABS sensors arent aligned properly.
Those are what I can think of.
