camcon in an XRS. WOW!!!!!!!!

i finally got my camcon into my corolla. lets just say wow! just with the sugjested baseline tuning from power enterprise i can actually feel a differance. Toyota tunes the 2ZZ so that the torque curve drops right before the cam swich. this is all but eliminated. i can almost no longer feel the crossover. the motor just keeps on pulling. i cant wait to get it on the dyno to do the final tuning.

Camcon? Do you have a controller that can set or vary the RPM at which "lift" occurrs.

If so, I'm interested in where, how etc....

Please let me know.

Thanks

No it changer the advance and retard of the intake cam not the crosover point. it would be cool but the only way so far is to go with a standalone computer. The camcon is still worth the money in my opinion. it can also adjust fuel control

Nice. It is good that you smooth out the torque dip just before lift. I guess you cannot feel lift anymore right??? By the way, JCTurbo (9thgencorolla.com) is developing a PFC for the XRS that will allow you to lower lift and raise rev limiter to 8600 rpm or so.

I've only run into one minor hickup so far. Today i was cruising over to the store and my car stalled at about 3000 rpm and my check engine light came on. I reset the light and turned down the cam setting at 2000 to 3500 to +1 instead of +3.It seems ok now. my buddy and i just finished putting his in his TC and no problems at all. his camcon made a HUGE differance. dyno tuning should happen next month. ill keep the info going. ps still worth it.
