I was wondering if anybody has tried one of those electrical superchrgers they sell on ebay or have any knowledge of them. Do they actually work? Does any body have a picture of one in their car. One of my friend was saying i should put one in my car,but I dont know any one with one or even seen one in person.I dont know if they work.
that's a gimmick man.. they don't work.. but don't worry, I have an "Electric NOS Kit" on the works.. push a button and a surge of power takes you from 12V to 48V therefore increasing your cars power x 4.
yeah, they are crap. A turbo/supercharger creates power by compression. That fan in your intake is doing nothing but blowing air in the direction of the combustion chamber. If anything you will lose power because it will just be an obstruction in the airway like said above.
to be safe you need a fake plastic intercooler to go with the electric supercharger

i would track down somebody who actually bought one of those things and ask them if it actually works. thats a decent amount of $ and you would still have to address fuel issues providing it can build boost

the only electric superchargers that work so the same thing as nitrous oxide, you have a bank of probably 4 optima cell bateries or so in your trunk, with a fat ass capacitor that at the push of a button supplies a very beefed up motor connected to a turbine forcing MASSIVE amounts of air into your system for a brief period giving you a sudden boost of power...
couple it with nitrous oxide and you could probly make your stock big port 4AGE powered car do 0-60 in about 4 seconds or less , provided you had good enough tires...
