Newest addition to my Toyota Family

as most of you know i currently own a 90 corolla "sr5" with a 4age smallport swapped in (and soon to get 20V itb's thrown on there) and an 87 mr2 with a 4agze smallport running on a stand alone..... some might know i also used to have an 86 mr2 that was fully stripped that i sold last year....

and today i stumbled across this.....

86 toyota 4 runner sr5..... unfortunately it's an automatic and isn't running.... but it was only $250

the motor cranks over fine... i'm 90% sure i've already figured out the problem...... there is a BIG leak in the fuel rail which i'm guessing the injectors aren't getting enough pressure behind them to spray enough fuel into the chamber AND the green connector coolant temp sensor (well, CSI switch) was broken off, so the csi never turns on.

so, not sure if i'll keep it..... hopefully have it at least start here soon...... might try to sell it for around $2,000 if i do get it running... (yes, they go for that much around here.... even with damage), but we'll see.... either way i want/need a truck or suv so that i can pull the mr2 off insurance and go full race setup with it and have something to tow the mr2

I just came back from a kids soccer game.. some old dude had one of these but it was so mint! there was no parking so he drove over the cement dividers and parked on a field.. all I could see was RANCHO suspension.
