You're wrong.. the 4AGZE is the perfect candidate for Turbo, its already supercharged so the internals are way stronger than than any 16V or 20V. You can go the TWIN-CHARGED way with the GZE, retain the supercharger for low end power and add a turbocharger for high end power.. its been done a few times already.
3SGTE on an AE92.. do a search on it.. I along with many others have discussed this more times than I can remember so I don't really feel like repeating myself every week when someone asks about it. To make it short, yes its been done, it will need a lot of modifications.
DISPLACMENT, the 4AGZE is still a 1587cc engine!, but whatever, ive looked at the twin charged setup, what is that going to run me, $4000 or somthing i would guess, how reliiable is that setup, as in could i drive it daily?
so then the 3sge is out of the question because i need the cassis to be rigid as possible, im trying to keep up with my brother's BMW Z3 3.0i :P, not easy...
i need somthing with an ok low end but will also get me up to 150mph...

REN the bottom internals of the late GZE and the 2nd Gen. 20V STs are identical except for the pistons.

ive heard of it being done b4- ill post tomorrow w. a website i was checking out- a guy did the 7age swap into his mr2 and turbod it- 300hp! they were also saying it does 210 without the turbo. -the rods that they used were custom, and they did use the pistons from the 4A-ZGE
- ive been readin up- gettin a lil too excited about possiblities for my 95 rolla- chyeh

You WILL need custom rods as the 7A is weak as. The 7A is just a stroked version of the 4A so really the only advantage you get out of it is that you get more low end torque. But in answer to your question. It is possible to do what you want, but it will be alot of stuffing around and you will not be able to get much boost from a single turbo unless you look at custom pistons.
You may, however want to look at a twin turbo, twin manifold setup if your using the 20v head. This way you can get much more air displacement for the same amount of boost. And because the 20v head breathes better it may just give you the power to run a twin turbo twin manifold setup.
I have talked about this with one of my good mechanic friends. It is feasable as he was thinking about dropping a 7A-GT(T)E 20v into his S14 Silvia That would be fun!
