Japan Emblem Removal on 96' Corolla

Hey guys, has anyone removed their emblems on their 93-97 Corollas? Just wondering if there are any hole under the emblems, cause if there are, I don't want to remove them then, can someone please let me know? I'm taking my emblems off tomorrow, and need a speedy answer! Thanks for everyone's help thus far!

i did it to mine, and i just used a screwdriver to pry off the emble, they're held by a glue, some ppl use a heat gun around the emble to heat up the glue so it would be easier to take off, and some ppl use floss to loosen up the glue, but i found out the easiest way is to just use a flat head screwdriver and pry it off, and then got the glue off by scraping it off with the same flat head screwdriver which left very little marks if you do it right.

some ppl use like a glue mover liquid substance for cars, but i couldn't find anything like that around my town, so i used did what i told you above, hope i helped, good luck, oh might i add that i did it when it was around 90 degrees outside the hot sun, so the glue was easier to come off, and i have a 94 corolla dx

Why in the world would you ever want to use a flat head screwdriver to remove something like that Your lucky it didn't make it look worse then your emblem did...If anything use a plastic painters scraper about two inches wide would be good and you could tap it under to remove the emblems...Heat would make it easyer both in getting the emblem and the glue off but be careful even though the scraper is plastic it could still could leave marks in your paint..A little paint thiner would remove the remaining glue but make sure you wipe it off good after, also stay away from things like Goo Gone it took my clearcoat off....hope this helps...Radd Guy

dental floss and Goo Gone.

Goo gone has never hurt any of my cars. I use it for pinstripes, emblems, dealer stickers and such.

the metal flat head took the glue off better/cleaner, it just works for me better, i didn't have none of that goo-gone thing either, and i didn't mind the scratches becuz i was planning to have a dealer paint it anyways, but there were very few and little scratches done if you use the metal flat head carefully, it should work
