Mine is a 92 Corolla.I bought it from my brother. I noticed that there were only two "engine support" installed (one at the front and the otehr one on the left side)because the other one is in the compartment. My brother sez the mechanic just remove one of those before. Any ideas on what possible problems it can cause to the car? Can it contribute to over fuel consumption?

That won't give you bad gas milage. But you do need them in there they keep the motor and tranny from moving around, not good to not have them.

there should be 4 engine supports for your 92. 2 on the sides, 1 in the front and 1 in the back. you don;t want your engine vibrating while running. plus this helps in keeping your engine from falling off the engine compartment.

AE92's have actually 5 mounts. Left, right, rear, front and bottom.

i stand corrected. thanks flashmn. yup there are 5 mounts.
