I just ordered a 2006 Silver Corolla from the dealer...headed this was from the plant in Cali. Anyone know what is getting changed on the '06 versus the '05? They say it's just a "freshening up"...what does that mean? Fixing all the bugs of the '05 (if there are any...besides the warm start issue of course

)...what else - new style grill, etc.??? Looks like the price is $225 higher when you go to Buyatoyota.com and build one up, compared to the '05's. Just curious from those of you that work at the Canada plant (or NUMMI in Cali) what to expect. Thanks!

it'll be a mid year update (model year = 5 years). Slightly changed look (maybe headlights, grill and tail lights) and some mechanical updates.

I doubt they will change anything, except for some electrical or any problems that people were having with their '05 models. If you noticed they updated the look from the '04 model on the '05 by changing headlights, taillights, grill. On the S, they upgraded the front of the car (the front moldings). They will probebly leave everything as it is for they '06.
