my buddy had the ecotek plc in his 99 SiR,

: no savings whatsoever. most of his driving is highway(150km to work and back + about 40km extra to go see his girlfriend in Scarboro after work), which is when the device is supposed to work at best. It now sits in a box in his garage, $600 down the drain if you ask me. maybe it did give him cleaner emissions, but the fuel savings claim was over rated.
the electric supercharger I've never heard of, but the Tornado I know has been getting a lot of bad reviews everywhere, and I think the company was getting sued at one point, for stating false claims like an X amount of HP increase when you never even got 1, etc.
How about testing adjustable cams, intakes, headers and exhausts or even some internal components, now those are proven HP increases.
