GTS rims on an SR5?

Wow, really cleaning up in the stupid newbie question category....

There was a 1/2 price sale on at the pick and pull today, picked up a set of GTI rims and newish tires for a pretty good deal. The rims are 14", tire size is 128/60/14.

Do 14" rims fit alright on the SR5? The tire diameter is just about the exact same as stock, just not sure about the rims backspacing and what not.

Thanks

By GTI I'm guessing you mean a Volkswagen GTI, from the late 80's, right?

If that is indeed the donor car, they share the same bolt pattern, 4x100, but I am not sure about the offset (should be similar), or the center-hole size.

Since you actually went ahead and bought them, why not just test-fit them already? I'm pretty sure you meant to type 185/60-14, and not 128/60-14. 185/60-14 is the correct plus-one application for that car, as the Corolla GT-S wears that tire.

Whoops, GTS is what I meant to say

And 185/60/14 is what I meant to say. Geez, having some problems today.

Would test fit them but the rims are a bit ugly so would like to refinish them while I have some spare time. So if I put them on, I'd have to take them right back off. So basically, it's cause I'm lazy

Thanks man

The ones I removed from the GTS seemed to be the same as the ones off the SR5 (not conical).

The GTS lugs are longer than the SR5 so yeah, as long as you have the lugs, the wheels will fit.
