If I want to retrofit from r12 to r134, do I need to change any seals in the compressor or change the compressor itself? I know I need to change the O-Rings in the lines if I wanto to switch to r134.

You could see what parts are in such a kit. There are not many. As I recall it sells for about $15 US.
