Hello Team,

I have a 1996 toyota corolla and i love it.
Recently when i press the gas i hear a pnging noise..i beleive this is due to bad timming.
What do i do?
should i reset the ecu?
Anyone know what is the timming degree setting for this car? Is it 16 degs?

Please need feedback!

5degrees with the service connector plugged.

Theres a connector under the hood that you need to connect the correct pins. I dont know which ones tho

The 4A-FE in the 96 is actually 10 degrees. The correct pins are the TE1 and E1 in the Diagnosis connector that can be found on the engine bay side (duh) of one of the suspension wells.
