Proud new Corolla owner !

Hi All,

As you can tell by my current user name, I own (not for much longer ) a Gen3 Camry.
However, I just took delivery of a brand new 2005 Corolla CE Special Edition, Phantom Grey Pearl today at 5:30pm

I'm selling the Camry, so I'll have some brand new crystal clear headlights to sell via the Camry forum

I'm already on the 9thgen forums, as CorollaKen - but I haven't posted anything there yet.

I can't wait to start customizing the rolla in the spring/summer next year. Lowering springs, 17" Mille Miglia HT-3's, Yoko AVS ES100's, CAI, tint, install my sub and amp (can that be done with the factory cd unit?), front upper strut bar, fog lights (I'm going to paint the blanking panels body color in the mean time).... maybe it will take more than just one year

I'll be taking it to Carlisle (Modified Madness), DKN8 and hopefully some Ottawa shows next year.

Awaiting my new username - hurry up EKam !
I'll have to buy some new TN stickers too.

Ordered my new TN stickers last night too.

When I sell my Camry and wheels, I'll have the cash for springs, CAI, tint and maybe wheels/tires (probably not tho).

Nice - I really like the Phantom Grey Pearl 'rollas (we have an '05 phantom grey S.......unfortunately, it seems when we bought ours, everyone else was buying a similar grey from other manufacturers, so it appears that "grey is the new black", or something )

Factory decks and aftermarket decks can both be connected to an amp. The reason why people buy them in the first place is because they play CDs and they are usually more powerful. Good luck with your Corolla and post some pictures!

Well... TN is Canadian. Started out of Toronto Canada.. all you americans and even some australians and europeans just jumped on our bandwagon.

Congrats on the new Corolla Ken.. I would've got an XRS myself though.

I can't afford much over the $20K C$ this CE SE went for... Toyota turned me down in Feb for a 05 Matrix TRD Edition... I'm probably pushing the debt ratio limit even with this 'Rolla . I'm happy with the one I got. I'll slowly build it up with TRD and aftermarket parts...
