Check out 9thgen(take this part out) corolla_com (replace the _ with a . since it does not let me type a URL). Lots of good information for the 1ZZ FE engine and a lot of people you can ask questions.

Its funny that they block another Corolla site from being written on here. God forbid we try to help others out

Just type in the above, one word.

9th gen corolla has been blacklisted because people have been spamming it through PM. it's too bad some people had to ruin it for everyone else.

What do you mean by spamming through PM?? Im not sure what you mean... we dont block your site name over there so I think its weird that you block ours (9thgen)? Not trying to start an argument, just curious.

no worries, ill explain why. we dont normally block any URL's here. the list of blacklisted sites is very short. pretty much the only way to get on that list is to be a spammer. while im not accusing the site in question of being spammers, a module that monitors our database noticed a frequent occurance of this URL in the private message database. after investigating, it was found that the URL in question was pretty much being spammed to new members by certain users. therefore, it was blacklisted without question. like i said, its too bad some people had to ruin it for others, but those are the consequences of their actions.

and just a note, posts like this on the forum of the site in question don't suprise me why some people would go to the lengths of spamming:

We must spam other 9thgen Corolla forums across the globe.

How many are there again?

Jesus Christ, that was in reference to eyelids so that we could get 50 (which usually more than one person could get from one forum) people for a groupbuy. I meant send out invitations to other forums to get more people in on it. Why in the world would I care how many posters and members 9thgen has?

It was a joke. The only other 9thgen forum is 2003corolla.org and their forum is no longer around. There ARE NO OTHER 9thgen forums. Hence the part I added about across the globe and asking how many there were. THERE AREN'T THAT MANY and none that we could spam. This is a Toyota Forum, not a 9thgen forum, so I don't even know how you could try to make a direct reference when the topic was about eyelids and not getting more members.

If I mentioned spamming toyotanation for members, you could probably hit me on it, but I didn't, and now you're just trying to make the whole forum over there look bad because of something I said.

Since you explained to polo why you blacklisted us, maybe you can explain to me how my post over on 9thgen has anything to do with spamming over here with the topic that you took that quote from. And is it that horrible to try to get other people in on a GB?

I would post the topic that you left out on that forum, but you guys blacklisted 9thgen and it wouldn't help in your argument.

Maybe another one of my quotes should have been included.

To clarify, I am not trying to get members to join or do I even care about that, I wanted to get 50 INTERESTED 9thgen owners to participate in a GROUPBUY that would benefit the 50 that were in it. THAT'S IT.

If you want to discuss something about people getting members from your site, then that'll be a whole nother matter and I have nothing to do with that. I have better things to do during my day than that.
