Canada Side Exit Exhaust

I have plans to put side exit exhaust on my '89 SR5, so I'll need a super small muffler. Are Cherry Bomb mufflers street legal in Canada? I need to find out before I spend the money.
Let me know canada!

I don't know if they're street legal, but I seen 6-7 cars around here with cherry bombs (the glasspacks which I think you're referring to). Sometimes they even have a stock muffler with a cherry bomb attached as an exhaust tip.

All I need is something small & compact, because no regular-sized muffler will fit

Haha that DEFINATELY wont fit. I got my car back from the shop today and realized that the bumper and brackets of all kinds that hold it onto the car are totaly rusted out. What is it with me and rusty cars!? My last car was a 1992 Geo Metro 1.3L 4cyl that was owned by a nun. It was obvious that the Bible told her nothing about undercoating, because it snapped in half when I was going down the road, and that had a shitload of rust on it... But I got my SR5 until January to fix it up for safety.

Here's the Geo: www.cardomain.com/memberpage/811082

I heard a cherry bomb for the last 2 weeks, a aw11 with 4agze 14psi boost with cherry bomb, ice racer, would wake the living dead man

I believe they sell cherry bombs at canadian tire for like 10 $$
street legal I think not

Edit: Oh you live in nova scotia? cool, you would think it wouldn't be a problem, all that noise would drift out to the sea.. Is you're sr5 actually 4wd?? or is that a dream, if it is what pieces did you use? (4runner rofl )

I have done this on my 89 civic, go buy a uni-fit small round muffler, and take that to a car-x like place and tell them to make you a y-pipe and to bring the tips out where u want them
