Lowering spring comparison

Ive been looking for a good set of lowering springs for my 02 rolla. I would like some input from others who have used Tein STech or Htech, H&R, or the Eibach Pro Set or Sportline. What do u like about the spring what dont you like? Thanks

You should use progressive springs that perform differently based on road conditions.
Tein S is not one of them, they ride harsh and probably best for smooth paved roads only.

Tein H, TRD, B&G and some others have progressive spring rates to smooth out the road bumps better.

I'm almost ready to install my Tokito and B&G (1.5" for both).
I don't know what you do in the winter there with a drop like that.

Taquitos? where?? I'll have 2 beef please!

You mean Tokicos, I have a 1.6inch drop on both my cars, but the 89 GTS rides on KYB GR2 shocks, I drove thru winter for 3 years and the only times I would regret lowering my car was when we got the BIG snow storms and the snow was REALLY high.

Snow storms are the only reason i might consider getting coilovers, so i could raise my car in the winter. I think ill go with eibachs, my dad has them in his BMW, the only problem to deal with now is pro-kit or sportline and what struts.

I have S-tech spring on my 05 xrs, and very pleased, the ride is not harsh at all. a bit stiffer than factory but not bad and the road condition are so bad here....
