Sulfer Smell 05 corolla

Has anybody else experience an sulfer smell while idling. I usually have my windows up so I have only noticed it a few times. i just hit my 5000 mile mark and once they did the 5000 serivce check i haven't noticed the smell. It only seems to happen at idle time (At a red light)
any suggestions?

There are a couple of past threads here that have lots of theories/thoughts as to what causes that smell Check them out...I have a 03 and it had that smell off and on for the first couple K's then it just disappeared...Hope yours does too ...good luck...Radd Guy...

Sulfur Smell

I have an 04 Corolla. I used to smell that smell on occasion when it was cold outside. I am up to 46K and I haven't smelled it in a while. It could be just something to do with the break in process of the engine over time and what ever was causing it burned off. One thing I do still smell is engine coolant in the winter time when I put the defroster on. It is faint but I can smell it. My coolant level remains steady so I do not think that I have a leak. I am not sure if any one else has this problem.

sulfur smell

I had been smelling a slight oder coming from around the rear tires . on 9 26 05 the ashville service center told me there is no abnormal problem with my
rear tire wearing soner then the front tires. They said my car has a stronger then
normal smell of sulfur and this is caused from using low octane gas.
