front end conversions?

Wondering if any one has done a front end conversion on there 93-97 corolla? If so how much trouble it was to get it to fit, and any problems with it's fitment? I've seen the 98-00 corollas with the 01-02 fronts and would like to know if anything like that can be done

Have not seen that, a body kit or an aftermarket bumper from eBay for your make would be cheaper that a conversion; 98-02 have the same chasis but the front bumper and light are different.

why not choose from the many JDM/EUDM AE101 front end versions so save ya some of the headache of metal work? most of them are bolt on affairs (provided you have everything including the fender and hood)

yeah.. the 98-00 to 01-02 can be done because they're basically the same model car with better looking front and rear end.. the 93-97 is a totally different model. I would go with a JDM front end for 93-97, IMO it would be easier to just swap panels than having to do so much body work and fitting for this type of thing.

Here is a friend of mine's AE102 with JDM front end and custom modified Integra lip:

I rather like his car.

Where would you order the jdm front end from? Is it just the bumper and the grill or are the lights diff (like a one peice unit)? I would have loved to have the 98-01 front end but if it's more cost effective to do the jdm front end then so be it.

grill and bumper are different, and lights are a single-housing unit (running an H4 bulb) instead ofa dual housing (runing a 9005 and 9006)

You could probably order it piece by piece from a dealership having the right part numbers. This front end came with the cars in Japan and the rest of Asia, I've seen these parts on EBAY before.

I've been checking e-bay for a while now but i've yet to see any. The jdm front end was what i wanted to do in the first place but i could never find the parts on e-bay. If i could get them from the dealer that would be great.
