AE92 Intake idea, crazy, could it work?

Ok I've seen a lot of crazy mod people have done on their cars & they may look ghetto but they get the job done which is most important right?

Well I was thinking of making a cold air intake the problem is with this car the battery is right infront of the of where I would place it & I don't want to move the battery cuz it's not worth my time.

I hear people put their cold air intakes behind the radiators of cars and works as well. I was thinking to install a short ram intake then place flexible tubing with large diameters into the filter and place the tubes behind the radiator. The air the filter gets would be coming from the air in the tubes from the radiator. Do you think enough air will go through the tubes into the filter to get enough air? I've heard crazy things people have done lol & this was just a thought

Is this crazy or not & do you think it could work??

It would be entirely useless. The radiator, get this, RADIATES HEAT. The idea of an intake is to reduce heat and increase flow....

The makeshift intake on my boyfriends 4afe runs to the palce behind hispop up light and ebtween the fender and the battery, it's a very tight fit but he fit the filter into there.

POintless go with the short ram setup or a cold air setup it does work and u dont have to move your battery that far.. their is a factory hole for the factory intake system... make that hole a bit bigger and you can get a pipe down their enough to attach a filter... i have tried this and i didnt like it as water was an issue... i have a ram air setup from www.cosmoracing.com and it seems to work fine
