No way. They were tested in different times. They are not even close. I know the 06 SI will be the quickest SI yet, but it has still not been released. XRS has A LOT more torque at the low end, stronger top end with more HP and a much broader powerband with very close gear ratios to boot as compared to the 00 SI. Unless the SI is launched from over 7000 rpm off the line, it will never be able to pull on the XRS. 02+ Si were actually slower than the 00 SIs. I have raced both the 00 and 03 SIs and they both had nothing on me. This video is exactly what would happen everytime. The SI outlaunched the XRS off the line since the XRS owner did not know how to launch, still the XRS owned the SI.

and for Rolla-XRS: the only actual competition lexus has on acura is the is300/ES330 vs 02-03TL-S and 04+TL which to make it short, the TL = ES luxury, but looks 3x better/3xfaster and the IS is way less luxurious and MUCH slower than the TL...is does look very cool, its rwd and can be MT...everything regarding quality/durability is arguable both way.
(also RX vs MDX) but i'm not going to discuss w/ ignorant ppl i dont even know.

I have been to a few Honda sites and I have seen how they insult Toyotas. They would make any excuse to call Toyotas cars for the people over 50 etc. You are a prime example of how they exactly talk everyday. When they don't respect Toyotas then why Toyota owners need to be acting all nice and goody-goody?? Atleast, people here give due credit to a nice car no matter what brand it is. Whether you like it or not, a nice car is a nice car. Look at how an XRS owner posted the new SI pictures. 3rdly, on that first video you posted, notice how the first part of the video was cut off because the SI overlaunched and destroyed the corolla. Then in the second video, the corolla starts accelerating WAY first and IF you have any experience and common sense, you'll know in cars with such close specs first off the line wins...so stfu u newb

Blah blah. Ricer excuses. You have to be blind to not admit the SI got spanked. The SI owner admitted that he got owned by a Corolla at 9thgen site. From the deadstop without launch, the SI had no torque off the line to even keep up till the XRS hits lift over 6000 rpm. I seem to know more about Hondas or you have no clue what you are talking about. The Si was 5 speed manual and there were no auto 00 SIs. Like I said before, I have raced SIs as well and they have nothing on XRS even with a slight head start.

The 00 Civic Si (and any SI after that) with 160 HP, there was no such thing as an automatic transmission SI. Even in the first video where SI outlaunched the XRS, you could still see the XRS passing the hood of the SI as soon as it hit lift in 1st gear and chirped to 2nd before the video cuts off. XRS owned the SI in all the three races.

I never put my XRS up against your Acura. There was never any doubt or statement on that.

But you come to this site trolling and spouting Honda-this and Honda-that. You have to expect to be bitch-slapped.

As for Lexus vs Acura...even the automotive industry doesn't classify Acura as real or true competition for Lexus. Lexus is luxury. Acura is not. Facts as presented by government registration (Polk) and Industry registrations (DesRosier) which lumps combined Honda and Acura against Toyota only. Lexus sits in it's own class with the big-boys. The difference, while fine, tells the story between price, features, and quality. Oh yeah...Lexus quality. Head out to Cambridge Ontario and discuss QA. See if Acura has the same level when 95% of the RX is built by machine exactly the same way...every freaking time.

As for timings, I have seen hard copy evidence of a stock XRS running 2 back-to-back 1/4 mile times of 15.1sec. So if exagerated, they're conservative estimates that that. Too bad the woosie doesn't want to post his time here...but I don't blame him since it would entice another troll to this site.

Smoked is as smoked is. All things the same, a stock SI cannot beat an stock XRS. Period. Case closed. Now run along back to Honda-ville.

omg...guys, i was just trying to make some of you see some facts and that the SI...while it IS more of a piece of shit that the xrs...is not as slow as the ppl that started the argument.
