USA more HP for 05 xrs

Hi All,
Can anyone point me in the right direction to add a little more HP to my car without spending a whole lot? Or maybe even something that would make it a little quicker??? Everything is still stock.

This might be a dumb question (I don't know a whole lot about cars), but will there ever be a turbo kit or supercharger for the xrs?

Thanks,
yotaxrs05

blitz makes a supercahrger kit, but its about $7000

start with intake/exhaust. Also look into a camcon.

Is there a catback you'd recommend that I can get for a fairly good price?

Also, would any of this void my warranty?

Thanks,

exhaust is one of the most useless mods unless you have Forced induction...spend $600+ for less than 3hp

get an intake, headers, crank pulley, maybe spark plugs, dont know if there's a piggy back to control Air/Fuel ratios and VVT for toyota like honda/acura has for the AFR, Vtec and timing (V-afc = i have one )...and after these mods, think of getting the exhaust....or save the money and get turbo kits starting from like $1200 and just go from there upgrading the turbo kit/engine/internals...IF you ever decide to spend this much money.

BUT in any case your car is very slow so save yourself the money towards your next car ...j/k happy moddin'

My car isn't slow, but I'm not exactly a featherweight (200lbs) ! Also, I have an Infinity 4ch amp and subs in the back that aren't helping out! So I really want to kick the crap out of the little civic Si's that always keep up. I can spend well over a $grand if needed.

Thanks!

xrs vs civic Si = no contest. Did the dealership give you a free dumbell set and it's still in the trunk?

Stereo system is always going to cost you performance especially with those heavy subs.

Get an Injen cold air intake (04 Matrix XRS fits perfectly) around, magnaflow exhaust system (available now for XRS). It is dyno proven that these two together give between 165 - 169 at the wheel (that is around 195 HP at the crank).

You can see those dynos at 9th gen corolla com (take out the spaces).

exhaust might not net you the massive horsepower you want, but it helps out your powerband alot. Defiantely look into Magnaflow.

as for an a/f controller thats the camcon.

No they don't keep up. But you know those pesky little guys that always roll up to you when you are on a 2 lane street (and you are at a complete stop). Then they try to sneek up on the green light ant take off to try and catch you snoozing. These Si people just don't know any better and they won't line up head to head...
