Not much... the AllTrac Corolla uses the smaller SR5 rear diff from the AE86 SR5

Second, what is the transaxle model number? Is this the same transaxle that was used in the very early celicas? If not, how much power will it hold before flying appart? Im not asking about the clutch here, im asking about the internals, gears and differential.
the AE95 All-Trac trans will NOT hold the power of a "S" engine

Third, If the transaxle is different does anyone know if the rear drive shaft output is in a different place or not?

Finally, What are the common problems with these cars. Basically im wondering what I will need to replace right away before I put the car on the road. Do they have bad ball joints like some of the celicas and MR2's? Do the wheel bearings tend to go bad?
RUST from the front doors back!

Any additional info that would help me with my new sleeper project would be most appreciated.

It does make a PERFECT 20V swap...........

Because the Camry already came with a S motor. (3SGE or 3SFE, Can't remember off hand) The Corolla came with an A motor (4AFE) so the motor mounts are in different locations.

Its not like I cant weld new, stronger mounts in the stock local. I just found out that the MR2 Turbo axels will fit into the Corolla All-Trac hubs So, with the celica alltrac transmission and MR2 turbo axels, along with some cutting and rewelding of the motor mounts we should have the front end figured out. The celica and corolla driveshafts will both have to be cut to make one hybrid drive. The rear diff drive ratio seems to be the only real problem right now since I dont really want to be messing around with changing out the rear axel. That would force me to do some custom suspension work that I would like to avoid.

Any input on how I can change out the rear ratios would be wonderfull. Are there any other toyotas that use a similar live axel. If there are I could borrow a gearset from one of those.

Anybody know if the SR5 4 cyl trucks of the same year used the same live axel rear as the corolla?
