Question need help- 99 corolla acceleration problem

hey guys wutsup

this is my first post and i dont know if the answer is ready anywer else or not ....
so this is the ccase:

My 16 yo brother usually changes oil in the household for every1 himself in our garage.... but last time whenever he changed my oil to chevron syntec (used fully syntethic for the 1st time) he bought some sorta carburetor cleaner and stupidly sprayed the liquid in the air filter box... he says that he took the filter out and he had thought that the box is the carburetor .... anyways... exactly in couple of minutes after this i had to drive sumwer and while driving i found out that my car is going idle after each stop (complete stop) and when i want to start moving or using reverse... it looks like the car uses N for like a second when i push the accelrator pedal and then suddenly switches to D and starts moving with a little jumpy situation...

I just found out that my car does not even have any carburetor and it has the fuel injection system... its all messed up now... tho i went and filled my car up with sh3ll vp0wer gas which claims that it cleans the fuel system while being used... and i also added stp jet fuel which claims that it removes the nasty stuff from the system and cleans the injectors.... now at the end of the day my engine check signal is on and i just dono wut to do or how much to spend on the correct choice...

this is all the technical info i have about my car:
toyota corolla 1999 VE - just less than 70000 miles
automatic transmition
using diff brands but usually premium class of gas

thats the only problem since his afternoon and otherwise this car is cool for me... but wut i should do i need help

oooops... looks a bit long and complictaed description . okay here is the brief post:

Used a carburetor cleaner spray for 99 corolla and have accidently sprayed inside the air filter box while engine cool and off. installed the air filter and used the car... immediately faced idle moments after each stop or sumtimes between changing the gear ( automatic transmition) the car jumps a bit and acceleration pedal works in kinda neutral order in the first second of movement and then the car jumps like u suddeny change the gear from N to D...

I need a solution for this... tried to use shell v power + PTS injector and carburetor cleaner (jet gas or sum poo like that) in 24 hours after.. still engine check light is on and problem remains unsolved!

P.S:Pardon my bad english, I'm an international student in US and i hope i have explained the situation clearly.

Thanks

Don't let your brother work on any more cars especially if he thinks the thing had a carb. There are no 99's out there passenger that have carbs they were fazed in around 91. Did this happen imediatly after he worked on it? Check your tranny fluid is my suggestion, you should probally flush it or get it checked out? Definetly not a fuel issue, injector etc.

Spraying anything through the box of the airfilter wont affect the fuel system, the fuel system is separate. I dont know what kind of metering system there is wether its a MAP or a MAF, if its a MAF (hotwire style), chances are the carb cleaner killed it. Otherwise, you 100% sure everything is connected and ok?

Did your brother take it out for a spin, if it's slamming, really think it may have to do with tranny. If he was doing neutral bombs, that may be your problem.
