... after i unbolted it and spent a number of hours wiggling it loose, that is.
I spent the afternoon working on my crashed car, and I feel accomplished. I single handedly removed the tranny with my handtools and motormaster hydro-jack.
that doens't sound like a big deal, but to me it is.. especially since the car is out in a yard, and not a garage or even a driveway.. believe me, after about 4 or 5 different kinds of bugs try to make a home out of your hair, you just stop caring.
also, half the job was getting the damned thing out from under the car after it was actually seperated from the engine.. i didn't feel like dragging it through the gravel and getting all kinds of dust and rocks in the tranny, so i had to get "creative"..
on another note, I got me a sparco rev seat for my ae86.. i still have to figure out a way to mount it, so for now it's doing this:
I think i've come up with a sweet ass way to mount it using the OEM sliders.. I got the idea from looking at the K-Staff Super Low seat rail, that I saw on the web.. I swear, some days i wake up and i'm f!cking genius :P
