Regular gas with 2006 Corolla S?

After reading the post from MIKE'S DAD I am now concerned about the fact that I"ve been putting regular gas in my 2006 Corolla S. It has almost 2000 miles on it already on regular gas. Should I switch to something better? Is it okay to switch at this point?

Nothing to be concerned with - the Corolla S uses the 1ZZ-FE engine, same as the CE and LE. You're fine on regular unleaded - it's only the 2ZZ-GE engine in the XRS that requires 91 octane fuel.
