Difference between 03-05 Corolaa S and 03-05 Corolla?

What are the main differences besides the bodykit? My wife like s the Corolla S's. But we are trying to stay around a certain price range. But se knows that she wants another corolla. I found a body kit that she likes, so i was thinking of getting like a regular corolla and adding the body kit to it. But i was wondering what are the major difference between the 2!

Thanks,

Rog

Same engine, 03-04 is driven by cable whereas the 05 is drive by wire which mean throttle control is taken over by the ECU instead of direct from the gas pedal. But same engine overall.

As for athestics. The Corolla S comes with a all black charcoal interior. Something that no other model Corolla has, including the XRS (although they have sports seats that I'm not too fond of).

Major differences is the interior and the gauges. Stock side skirts and front and rear lips. But that's about it. The CE would be slightly faster than the S because no bodykit and spoiler weighing it down.

Honestly, if you're on a budget, just get a CE. But they are both good investments either way.

Agree....we were originally leaning towards a 5 spd manual CE, but ended up with an auto S - wife fell in love with the interior and exterior. I love it !!! I'd've loved the XRS even MORE , but ...that's another story
