'95 AC Question
So I took my new (to me) '95 wagon on its first road trip. It did very well, and I got 32 mpg going 75 with the AC on. But, the AC seems to be acting oddly. I should say it was 102 outside, but the AC was acting like this: it would start out fine, very cold, and blowing lots of air. After maybe 30 minutes, the amount of air coming out would decrease and the air would warm up some. It wasn't hot, but definetly not as cold as early. So, I would turn the AC off, but leave the fan on. The amount of air coming in would increase and stay cool for quite a while. Then, maybe 15 minutes later, I would turn the AC back on and it would be cold again, and the cycle would repeat. Toward the end of the trip, the AC stayed cold, and was so cold I had to turn the fan & the temp down on it. Strange.
Does this type of problem sound familiar to anybody? Or, is it just that the AC on a '95 isn't that great & couldn't keep up with the heat?
Thanks - Jevid
